Day 3

Today's plan was to go to Jogini waterfall and Vashishth temple. In the initial plan I was going alone, but then it became two of us. The second person being this another female solo traveller whom I met at hostel. Vashishth village is at a distance of  approximately 4.5 kms from Moustache hostel. We decided to hike to Vashishth from Old Manali. It was a long long journey but the views made the walk worth it. As they say it is the journey that matters and the destination.

After having walked for quite some time, we finally reached the temple. The temple is famous for it natural hot water spring. The men and women section is different so both can enjoy their time in the spring. We just dipped our feet in the kund and decided to continue our hike towards Jogini waterfall. The route to Jogini waterfall from the temple was very very scenic.

The towards Jogini falls from the temple will approximately take 30-40 minutes depending on your speed. Near the falls there is a small temple. The view from the falls is just beautiful but the crowd at the falls makes it a little less enjoyable.

After having spent some time at the falls, we headed back and on our way back decided to do zip line. Zip lining across valley was a thrilling experience. While returning we hitch hiked our way to Mall road, Manali. A very kind local dropped us to till Mall road. We had a candid chat with him about the changing weather as it was raining on some days and some other topics. We had some good food at mall road and then returned back to our hostel.
