Memorable moments and journeys down the lane..!! #MemoryLane

While staying at home, one should refresh your memory by looking at those travel trips down the lane! I can remember those memorable moments from the past journeys.

1. TRAVELLING SOLO IN THE FLIGHT FOR FIRST TIME

It was my first experience for going solo during my air travel from Goa to Mumbai. Earlier, I used to travel by air with my parents on-board but on the next day, I wished that some or the other day, I would like to travel all alone. And then, I proudly completed my solo air journey in the last summer! I got a seat in the last row down the aisle during an hour journey to Mumbai. The plane departed at 18:45 from Goa International Airport and arrived at Mumbai T2 at around 20:00. Refreshments were served during the journey but I couldn't take a proper picture as it was dim and dark all over. It was my first solo trip and also for the first time I got an aisle seat! I have always been comfortable near the windows since childhood! When I got down from the plane at Mumbai, it all felt like 'Mission Accomplished', my first successful solo trip by air! 2. FIRST SOLO TRAIN JOURNEY

Before travelling in flight alone, I did so many solo journeys while travelling in train. It all started in 2017, where I need to move on for further studies, to a small town called Kudal in Sindhudurg district of Maharashtra, near to Goa. Whenever, I needed to come home at Kalyan in Thane district, I use to travel by Tejas Express, which is a premium train running between Mumbai and Goa. I did my first solo travel by this train and it became my most memorable moment! I always prefer this train because it's a superfast train having comfortable AC seating, on-board catering service and do not take much halts, covering the distance in less time. I can never forget such journey. Here are some of its glimpses!

3. VISIT TO ASIA'S EXOTIC BEACHES IN INDIA

Beaches are the most fantastic places for me to travel! It takes no more pain for travelling to the beaches but immense pleasure to feel the breeze and experience the shore. Where mountain trips are thrilling, beaches stands out for relaxation and peace. My visit to Kovalam Beach near Trivandrum in Kerala, during 2015 summer and Radhanagar Beach at Havelock Island in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, in 2017 were the most beautiful places I have ever been too! These beaches are most famous beaches in Southern India. They are internationally renowned and are known as 'Paradise of South'. Also, they have been included in top #10 beaches in Asia for so many years and I am too glad that I have travelled to such 'must visited' sites in India.

4. CAPTURING THE MOUNTAINS

Exploring the beaches keeps me fascinating everytime but I would never forget those road trips through criss crossed mountains and passes, giving me goosebumps! I have visited The Himalayas in J&K, in my childhood days. Then, years after growing up, I have been to so many places across India but I never use to capture the perfect pictures. I was no where near to photography at that time. As the time passes, you want to know more about it and you want to capture those magical places in your camera. And I successfully did it on my trip to mountains and valleys of Himachal, last year!

5. FIRST TRIP OUTSIDE INDIA

Back in 2013, I visited Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal from Sikkim, with my family. It was an overnight 12-14 hour journey by bus from the Pashupati Market, near Gangtok, situated on the borders of Sikkim and Nepal. After touring the market, exchanging the currencies, and clearing the customs check, we got across the border to book a bus to Kathmandu. We reached Kathmandu by morning eight o' clock. It was a two night stay in Kathmandu, visiting the important historical places and local sightseeing. Then, we returned back to Kakkarvita, again a bordered place in West Bengal in India.
