Day 1

Many of us are wanderlust or wish to be one. Majority dreams for a road trip, exploration but many times the fact is just it stays as a dream. Many are bound to live's commitment, work pressure, shortage of leaves. This is somewhat the case with every one of us.

With 5 days leave I got,  I boarded the flight to Delhi. All I needed was an escape from my daily life.

Forcing my way through the crowd by bike, I heard many shouting insults in local language. I was heading to my destination, overriding cars those we're stuck in narrow road. I had finally decided to feel a bullet ride. My destination was keylong. I started from manali early morning through Rothang pass. One can take either their own bike or can rent a bullet. There are lots of rent shop for bikes. For travelling through Rothang  one has to take a permit. Ride was very comfortable, as bike I rented was of good condition, thanks to Munna bhaiyya, the bike owner. The road to Keylong through Rothang is narrow at some part and good at other parts. The roads of Rothang are covered with snow on either side. It was beautiful, and of course cold. Since I was moving, cold was bit fine. I stopped in between to have my favourite pahadi dish Noodles. They never fail to satisfy me. Slowly I started to decent and the snow scape mountains slowly diminished. I had already booked a Swish Tent in keylong. The tent was set near two rivers. They meet each other at a point called as Sangam. The water was too cold and round pebbles covered the area. A small booze would help people to stay at night. Normally nights are cold since our bodies are at rest. I had a sound sleep since I was riding all day long.

The next day after breakfast I returned to Manali. The experience was breathtaking. I would suggest everyone experience the same. It will bring a soul, happiness within us.
