Usually we have fascination for places which are far from us, same was the case with me. while growing up I must have visited some of the beaches close to my town in Konkan region of Maharashtra but didn't take a note of how mesmerizing they were . The buzz word was always Goa which is close to my hometown.After having lived in big cities for almost a decade now I have started valuing what I have back home. These days I make it a point of visiting some of the secluded,off beat beaches when I am in my hometown. Also my cousins keep on sharing updates of various beaches they visit on regular basis. Here I am sharing a list of 10 beaches which will blow your mind away with its beauty
𝟏. 𝐑𝐞𝐝𝐢 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡- 𝐕𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐥𝐚
A bus ride away from Panjim in Goa and other taluka Places like Vengurla , Sawantwadi of Maharashtra this beach has something unique to offer.Cystal clear water , Panoramic view are definitely a bliss to your eyes and Soul
𝟐. 𝐊𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞 𝐍𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐭𝐢- 𝐕𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐥𝐚
I visited this place during the Corona times , there are two adjacent beaches which offer total different views. The fort although in ruins gives an birds eye view of the beaches . Sunset from this beach was one of the highlights of my 2020
𝟑. 𝐊𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐞 - 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐯𝐚𝐧
A beach with backwaters alongside. I visited this place with my family and we were the only ones on that beach , watching the sun going down from this beach is sure a scenic view
𝟒.𝐁𝐡𝐨𝐠𝐯𝐞- 𝐕𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐥𝐚
Another hidden gem, infact you can see this beach from the fort at Kille Nivati. Clean water,white sand at this beach is definitely a therapy to wandering souls
𝟓. 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐚 ( 𝐕𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐠𝐡𝐚𝐫)- 𝐒𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐰𝐚𝐝𝐢
Shiroda is known by many as the Hometown of Famous Marathi Author V.S.Khandekar , however this place has a spectacular beach which is definitely a feast for the traveller in you. The beach offers some sports activities and horse riding options, but is very far from commercialization
𝟔. 𝐒𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐰𝐚𝐫 - 𝐕𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐥𝐚
This beach is very close to taluka place of vengurla . The beach is definitely a great place to spend some quality time with your friends and family. The place offers dense plantation of pine tree ,super clean water and scenic views
𝟕.𝐀𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐫𝐚- 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐯𝐚𝐧
Another Pristine beach which is known as a good location for dolphin spotting . The place offers various sports Activity and you have and option to try snorkeling here
𝟖.𝐕𝐢𝐣𝐚𝐲𝐝𝐮𝐫𝐠𝐚- 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐠𝐚𝐝
The road leading to this beach is very scenic . This beach has a fort which is in very intact condition. There is a MTDC resort right on the beach which offers great view and is a good option to stay if someone is planning a trip here
𝟗. 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐠𝐚𝐝
Devgad popularly known for its alphonso Mangoes has a beautiful beach in its vicinity. Nice place to have peacfull walk with your loved ones with the view of windmills close to the beach
𝟏𝟎.𝐒𝐮𝐯𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐝𝐚- 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐯𝐚𝐧
This place offer you an option of scuba diving cause of diverse marine life Another clean and less crowded beach which every traveller craves for
All the beaches are well connected to nearby town by local and private transport. You can try authentic Malvani Cousine in the vicinity of the beaches , you will get restaurant close to the beaches which mostly operate from home and offer good food options. One can opt to stay at any of the nearby taluka place or can stay at home stays close to the beaches. This area is not commercial hence you will need help of locals to plan your trip. The nearest airport to these beaches is Goa, also the area is well connected by Konkan railway and can be reached by road via the Mumbai Goa highway.
