Our adventure at Leh and Ladhakh

This was one of the most interesting trips I've have taken. Me and two of my friends spontaneously decided to take a trip to Leh Ladhak, the fact that it was spontaneous and impulsive was the best part, always is. We reached the first day hired bikes and cycled around leh town, ate a lot of food,tried to go everywhere we could. We headed back to our hotels and slept since we were strictly reminded to take rest the first two days or so due to the high altitude, and that could result to health issues later. Regardless of that, the next day we hired three Scooties, again, spontaneouly trusted our instincts and rode off on the LEH- Srinagar road. We were riding in our Scooties for a good 6 hours, we saw the magnetic hill, we saw many rivers with beautiful landscapes with though we had dry mouths we stopped to click pictures, cuz that stuff is mandatory, we always got excited when we saw another of our own species since it was a long way and not many people walked, rode on Scooties, or bikes. we encountered several group of armies who were extremely kind and generous they served us with Chana and juice that was made of rose (Indian) and there were such beautiful places that were untouched and truly magical, neither words not pictures can describe how beautiful the places were and how beautiful this experience was. When we got back to our hotel in the night we were lost for words. Physically we were at the hotel but mentally we were still trying to digest the fact that we did that all by ourselves ( all three travellers were females) plus we experienced life and it's beauty. Again we got our adventure mode on and rode our way to the LEH- Manali road with our Scooties, it wasn't as beautiful as leh-Srinagar road but the journey was worth it. We also did go see Pangong lake, but this one by a cab or we would have literally collapsed otherwise. On the last day Both my friends headed back to New Delhi but my journey wasn't over, I was headed to Manali by road which I'll probably write about separately. This journey was epic spontaneous and an extremely adventurous experience for me I would definitely recommend this to anybody and I would definitely do it again, every bit of it was worth it, from the scorching heat of the sun, the sun tans, the dry mouth, to the hunger pangs, thirst and what not but who cares...I'm all about the experience.
