Kumbhariyaji - A Jain temples Built in 12th century. This temples are best example of carving in white marbles. It is saying that this temples are part of 360 temples built by Vimalsha.
How to Reach:
It is located near 3 km away from Ambaji - Famous town for Goddess Amba temple. The main city ahmedabad is located 190km away from this. If you travel by air than airport is only in ahmedabad. Train can be dropped you Mount abu or palanpur railway station and from there you need to hire car/taxi. You can have nice staying facilities available at Ambaji. Also the famous hill station Mount abu is 55km away from here.
What to see:
Mainly attraction is carving in mable. The different types of sculptures which includes Gods, Goddesses, Beautiful Toran (decorative marble piece) and other human idols. The also notable thing is all the temples are built facing toward the north.
These five Jain temples are devoted to the five thirthankaras of the Jain religion namely Mahavira, Parshvanath, Neminatha Shantinath and Sambhavanath.
These temples carving are beautiful than Dilwara temples of Mount Abu in Rajasthan and old too.
