Kedarkantha Trek
One of the not most visited locales, close to the Har ki dun valley, is Kedar Kantha. Kedar Kantha lies in the state of Uttarakhand, bordering Himachal Pradesh. The outdoor vistas are beyond description in beauty. There are quaint hamlets, unending and lush green meadows and fabulous views of some of Himalayan giants. The people are extremely friendly and the culture and practice of the locals unique.
What makes this trek special is the views of the Himalayan ranges that one gets along the trail and from the summit. In winters the sky is usually clear and the air clean ensuring fantastic views. At an altitude of around 3810 m/12500 feet, the summit (Kedar kantha) offers a good challenge to trekkers
