K2K- On Road Exploration Of India From Kanyakumari To Kashmir

Yess We achieved it!!

13 states nd 4 Union territories covering 9,033kms within 14days

All happened because of our highly enthusiastic team K2K - Kanyakumari to Kashmir which was further exetended till Kargil !

Starting from the misty roads of Madikeri on October 13th at 4:15am , seeking the blessings of Madhurai Meenakshi amma , we reached our first destination *Evergreen town of India - Kanyakumari*

Next day we crossed the God’s Own country- Kerala and halted at Mangalore.

Now comes our biggest day , because we have crossed Pune - Mumbai Expressway within 1:30 hrs... Isn’t it a big achievement!?! App.1000 kms within 15hrs!

On 16th we continued our K2K journey towards *The lake city- Udaipur* via Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

We cherished the beauty of Udaipur and continued towards *The Sun city - Jodhpur * Here we visited Mehran Ghar , Jaswant Thada. How could we continue our journey without tasting the Rajasthani food - Yess ... our tastebuds were fully satisfied with the mesmerising tastes of Daal baati ,Choorma.

Now comes the day for which we were waiting... We reached Amritsar , visited Jallianwala bagh nd Wagah border / Laal chowk - the place where India and Pakistan border meet . Here , each and every part of our body was filled with patriotism. We shouted with all our energy - *Hindustan Zindabad* , *Vande Matharam* Saw the stunning marchpast of our Brave BSF members. Hatsoff BSF jawans !

Now , our journey is towards the *Crown of Mother India - Jammu and Kashmir*

We were stuck in the traffic because of The massive landslide for about 6 hrs still we made it to Shrinagar. As we were high on energy we rescheduled our plan upto *Kargil* कार्गिल में शहीदों को सलाम करके we headed back to Shrinagar via Zojila pass - Altitude 11,649ft where we could experience the extreme cold temperature of about -7 degree celcius...

On 22nd , inspite of Kashmir strike , we visited Dal lake which was more beautiful than what we had imagined.

Next day early morning we started our journey towards south crossing Punjab, Haryana. We visited Kurukshetra , Janmabhoomi of Lord Shrikrishna - Mathura , The wonder of the world - Taj Mahal - all in Uttar Pradesh. We crossed Madhyapradesh , visited Zero mile stone (the place where the measurement of India was started in trems of kms) at Nagpur , Maharashtra and headed toward Hyderabad. This was on 27th of October. On 28th of October we drove about 1000kms again and reached our final destination- Madikeri .

After this On road Trip, we realised, *कन्याकुमारी से कश्मीर तक भारत एक है *
