It was a long way journey amidst pandemic as when there were no public commute available ready.
We started with our own vehicle from Delhi, full packed with a bottle or hand sanitizer amd mask, the essentials not to be missed.
It was 23/Oct20', fortunately a medley planned trip, 2 am at night with malkit singh on aux we started smoothly, from Delhi towards Chandigarh.
It tooks us a whole 6hrs which is for sure is more than what we usually expect it to be, and by 8 in morning we were there at Chandigarh for a morning tea.
Going forward to Shimla for our first day stay, and after reaching over there having lunch at sher-e-punjabi the famous punjabi restaurant at mall.
We were only left with goofing around on mall road as there is obviously nothing to visit around apart from the scenic view from the chruch.
With the passing time we were left with deciding where to have our stay at night.
To this we decided to move forward on our way passing Mashobra, Fagu and stopping at Theog.
A beautiful Homestay just before theog with economic prices and a scintillating sunrise for the next day.
*There are no proper restaurants for food and place to stay at theog*
A Morning from the balcony of Theog Homestay was the first refreshing moment we adored after leaving from Shimla.
We checkout from there and left for Jalori pass at 8 in morning which was still 120kms away from theog and yet a false assumption of 120kms of mountains which took us 5hrs to cover.
*A very steep road starting before 15kms to Jalori pass*
Reaching at Jalori pass after having our breakfast in between the journey, was so refreshing and also with 5 degree fall in temperature but yes the view was so fruitful after an exasperating ride from theog to Jalori.
Full bucked up with our heavy padded jackets we left for Serolsar Lake which was 5 kms jungle Trek from Jalori pass.
Amidst pandemic there were few tourists who came over there, which was a sigh of relief to us somehow.
Follwing the craved paths we reached the beautiful Serolsar Lake and spent our time there,
what we actually came for.
It took us around the whole day time till the time we reached Jalori pass by 6:30 in evening.
Jibhi was not really planned in our itinerary.
So we left for Jibhi which was about 20kms from Jalori.
Way to Jibhi is slope way from Jalori pass, requiring strong break pads for our vehicle and gear-braking,
But despite being full cautious, it resulted with a break fail in the middle of the road.
Thankful that I'm alive to pen down my experience today xD
We somehow managed to park the car at side, to our surprise the break-pads got so much heated leading to a break fail, thanks to the local coummute which gaves us the boost saying this is a frequent phenomenon when getting down on slope, pouring some water on tyres and waiting for them to cool down is the only solution.
Our night on 24'oct was an amazing experience for us.
We halted at Jibhi for night stay.
A Bright Morning at Jibhi the next day was so pleasant with a river side homestay, as on the previous day we were only able to hear to sound of valley water hitting to rocks in between.
We went straight to river-side to capture some beautiful moments and spent a peaceful time at over there.
After having our breakfast at our hotel we left for the Jibhi Waterfall which is the only place to visit over there.
So, done with our itinerary we started our journey way back home..
We followed our way back from Mandi rather than going back from Shimla as it was not suggested by any local drivers over there.
The whole 3rd day after Jibhi was consumed in traveling our way back via Mandi. We stayed at Chandigarh that night adding one more day to our journey.
We had a dead sleep that night at Chandigarh.
Getting up the next morning was nothing different from any city, yet a quiet place as compared to any other metropolitan city.
Starting our day with the famous Kulcha's for our brunch in Chandigarh. We went for visit to Sukhna Lake which is the prime location for everyone visiting Chandigarh.
To not waste anymore time we straight left for Delhi from Sukhna Lake.
Our journey ended at 8 pm, with a memorable road trip from Chandigarh to Delhi.
