‘Ram Bhakts’ can now seek the blessings of Lord Rama and enjoy travelling on the newly launched Ramayana Yatra Special Trains by IRCTC. Isn’t that super amazing?
To promote religious tourism, Indian railways have come up with an idea to introduce a series of pilgrim special trains to take you on a journey of a lifetime.
The first pilgrim special train embarked on its journey on 7th November from Delhi Safdarjung railway station. The special train is supposed to touchdown at every sacred place that’s attached to the life of Lord Rama and the beliefs of the Hindu population.
The most exciting of all is the affordable package that comes with an all-inclusive price – starting from INR 16,065 (Sleeper class) and INR 26,775 (3AC) per person for a tour of approx 16 nights & 17 days.
Destinations Covered – Ayodhya, Sitamadhi, Janakpur, Varanasi, Prayagraj, Chitrakoot, Nashik, Hampi, Kanchipuram and Rameshwaram.
Boarding Points – Sri Ganganagar, Abohar, Malout, Bhatinda, Barnala, Patiala, Ambala Cantt, Kurukshetra, Karnal, Panipat, Delhi Cantt, Gurgaon, Rewari, Alwar, Jaipur Agra Fort, Etawah and Kanpur.
Amenities included – journey by preferred class of train, accommodation, Non AC road transfers, Veg meal (including breakfast, lunch & dinner), packaged drinking water, tour escort with security staff and travel insurance.
