we Indian love travel . and also love watching our Bollywood movies. Movies play a big role in our life. here I am presenting a short list of Bollywood movies that inspired a whole generation.  .. ..

1 DIL CHAHTA HAI  .. ...  Well this movie is a cult In travel genre . goa was popular before as well but these 3 friends (Akash ,sid ,sameer ) introduce goa in a new manner. After watching this movie goa become a dream destination in youngsters. We all dream to go goa with our friends. this movie is a treasure for every travel lover 

2 ZINDAGI NA MILEGI DOBARA... ---- again this a classic movie for travel lover. 3 close friends meet after a long time & they plan for a long vacation in Europe. and how they overcame their fear was the highlight. 3 of them had a fear like high altitude,fear of water,fear of wild animals. the music, location, star cast, story everything  was classic.  It's a must watch movie if you love your friends & travel together.

3 YEH JAWANI HAI DIWANI ----- who can forget bunny & naina  in this movie   the iconic dialogue  ...MAIN UDNA CHAHTA HU.. GIRNA CHAHTA HU. BHAAGNA CHAHTA HU. BUS RUKNA NHI CHAHTA. ... manali become overnight famous after this movie. Though manali was famous before as well. But got much popularity among the younger generation. Ranbir Kapoor, s character bunny become iconic after this. & who can forget the wedding scenes in Udaipur ( Rajasthan)  everything was so good in this movie

4 JAB WE MET ------- well this was my personal favorite. The characters like GEET & ADITYA was my favorite. Specially geet she was amazing, raw, crazy, fun loving , charming.
How beautifully they shown our country that was commendable . Every song in this movie is special. The location like Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, s rohtang pass. Was the main high light.

5 QUEEN -----   again this was the masterpiece. How a single, alone, broken  girl travel in odd situation was main highlight of this movie.
So many girls & women got inspired to travel by watching this cult movie. The people who love travel how they can forget this classic.
This movie shows us a single, alone girls also travel the world.

6 DILWALE DULHANIYA LE JAAYENGE --- this is India, s one of iconic movie. how two strangers meet in Switzerland ( RAJ & SIMRAN)
who can forget. They fall in love. Then somehow they manage to get married. Our generation late 80,s or early 90,s was so fascinated with this movie.  . . After this movie Switzerland become popular honeymoon destination in among Indians.

7 TAMASHA ---- the story of 2 strangers ( VED & MONA) meet in Corsica in Europe  . They travel together & promise they will not again. But it's the destiny they met again but VED  is not the same guy  what he was before. How naina deal with the situation & help ved to get his real identity. movie is so emotional at the end. Beautiful location in Europe & soulful songs
Hard to forget.

8 HIGHWAY ------  another classic from the director Imtiaz Ali. Who is so popular for his sense about travel. Travelling is a special part in his all movie. A young girl (VEERA) aalia bhatt  got kidnapped by a nomadic character played by ranveer hooda. in this odd situation how she manage & learnt the real thing during her journey. . . she became a strong version of herself after the journey.
