Not once but thrice in this pretty wonderland that has loads to offer , the busy mall roads , the adventure activities, the quaint homestays, the divine Devbhoomi and the lip smacking food

What more could one want in this land of passes, ranges , sanctuaries and rivers

Day 1 : Chandigarh airport to Manali : its a good drive all the way and the infrastructure is getting amazingly better . Traffic in hilly areas is expected as the terrain is tough but you can ignore it by stopping across local dhabbas , the Himachal heritage museum and Dang dynasty cuisine on the way

Day 2 : Rohtang ...it's a good drive with narrow roads, and ever changing weather so be prepared and leave early around 4-5am ... Try the Solang Rohtang road and come down from the other side via the Atal tunnel ..Be mesmerized by the beauty of the changing terrain ....all across the entire circle Rohtang - Koksar - Burwan- Sissu - Atal Tunnel

Day 3 : Local sightseeing, mall road dont miss the vibe at old manali and chill across the cafes around there

Day 4 : Solang valley for adventure activities, but we choose to trek over to watch the majestic Anjani Mahadev mandir .. there are ATV bikes that take you there if you do not wish to walk that 1.5kms

Day 5 : Kasol via Naggar and watch the Naggar haveli , have some amazing pies and cafes at the Naggar delight cafe just opposite it . Also dont miss the monastery on the way

Day 6/7 : in and around Kasol offers you treks , a trip to Manikarnika saheb and Shiv mandir , explore the Offlimits Cafe across the Parvati river and some amazing villages which you can walk to across the Kunwara wildlife sanctuary

Day 8 : travel off towards Amritsar again a long drive and you can stop across Anantpur (pilgrim sight for Sikhs and the Khalsa community) beautiful gurudwara and you can lunch at the langar here , further ahead is the Jalandar freedom museum and than Amritsar

Day 9: Golden temple , Jalianwala bagh and museum amazing chats around and loads of places for a yummy thali too . Also if shopping is on your mind this place would not disappoint

Day 10: back home :) with memories and a fat tummy

Things to remember: do not litter and follow rules even in heavy traffic look around, walk around and eat around while you are stuck :)
Rohtang requires a permit so be prepared on that front , our taxi travel did all the preparations for us :)
