Also known as 'Punch,' Poonch is a district nestled within the Jammu division of Jammu and Kashmir. It is surrounded by the Line of Control on three sides, also commonly known as the LOC. Until now this area has not been discovered by many, but from the looks of it, things seem to be changing soon.

Deputy Commissioner of Poonch, Yasin M. Choudhary has taken an initiative in order to expanding tourism opportunities in the Poonch region.

Tourism of Poonch Development Authority wants to actively promote tourism in the area, ensuring that the inspiring stories of these brave soldiers reach the wider public.
