Harihar One Day Trek

It's been an year we have not been out for the trek together & hushhh.... finally we decided to go for the trek. I personally feel trek is the better option over just a waterfall trip because now days waterfall has become boozing spots. I simply thrown a suggestion of Harihar fort trek on Sumedh, Nikhil & Suhas, surprisingly they said YES. So day was confirmed (Sunday) & all were smiling at each other because plan was rolling.

Except Suhas all of us were boarded in Kasara local from Kurla around 5:15am which had dropped us at Kasara around 7:30am. Train was empty since it was Sunday morning, we enjoyed crap talks leg pullings & obviously the company. From kasara station we took one Van costing Rs.2000 (too & fro). Van took around 1hr 30min to reach the base village that is Nirgudpada . We bunch of clueless people standing in 2 man thick fog with adventure in eyes!

The whole trek is something around 2 hours journey which is not the cup of tea for all of us. The route was patchy, muddy, slippery in short the route was not great.

Staircase

After so many trek breaks & slips we reached the monster staircase of HARIHAR. At 1st view all of us were bit scared & almost in not to climb mode. But after 2-3 minutes we self motivated ourselves & took the 1st step. After that we didn't even know when we reached at top.

The view from top was all foggy & mystic as expected. We took walk at all the corners of Fort & had snacks around. Suddenly drizzle started & we decided to start descending.

Again those monster stairs were waiting for us but this time it was bit more scary since it was raining. Due to fog & rains we couldn't see the steps but somehow after half an hour we manged to get rid of staircase & relived.

Trek was good except Sumedh'st leg sprained & Suhas's back pain :P
