Upon arrival in Delhi, our representative will provide assistance at the airport.

India’s capital, New Delhi is an enchanting medley of different influences, one foot deeply grounded in time- revered traditions, whilst the other steps forth confidently into the dotcom domain. It is a glorious labyrinth of ancient forts speckling the suburbs juxtaposed with exaggerated avenues, punctuated by the newer landmarks of utopian malls.

TO SEE:

Day 1: Humayun’s Tomb - ‘A monument to love’, Humayun’s tomb – the city’s most sublime sight, was

commissioned by the widow of the Mughal Emperor Humayun in tribute to her husband. The graceful higharched and meringue-like dome provide beautiful examples of early Mughal architecture that are widely believed to have influenced Humayun’s great-grandson, Emperor Shah Jahan when he built the Taj Mahal.

Qutub Miner - is a minaret that forms part of the Qutab complex, a UNESCO. It is a 73-metre (239.5 feet) tall tapering tower of five stores, with 14.3 meters (47 feet) base diameters, reducing to 2.7 meters (9 feet) at the top of the peak. It contains a spiral staircase of 379 steps.[4] Its design is thought to have been based on the Minaret of Jam, in western Afghanistan. Qutab-Ud-Din-Aibak, founder of the Delhi Sultanate, started construction of the Qutub Miner’s first story around 1192. In 1220, Aibak's successor and son-in-law Shamsuddin Iltutmish completed a further three stores. In 1369, a lightning strike destroyed the top story.

Lodhi garden is located beside India International Center which is just 3 kilometers away from Humayun's Tomb. It is one of the historical gardens in Delhi. It houses the tombs of Sayyid and Lodhi rulers. Lodhi garden was set up in between the 15th and 16th centuries by the Sayyid and Lodhi rulers.
