Exciting news for train enthusiasts and travellers in India! The Indian Railways is set to launch a new Vande Bharat Express train service on the Delhi-Jaipur route in the third week of March 2023. According to a circular issued by the North Western Railway zone, the Delhi-Jaipur Vande Bharat Express will be equipped with modern amenities, including comfortable seating, onboard catering, and entertainment options. The Vande Bharat Express train service is already operational on 10 other routes across the Indian Railways network. These include New Delhi-Varanasi, New Delhi-Katra, Gandhinagar-Mumbai, New Delhi-Amb Andaura, Nagpur-Bilaspur, Chennai-Mysuru, Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam, Mumbai-Shirdi, Mumbai-Solapur, and Howrah-New Jalpaiguri. With the addition of the Delhi-Jaipur route, the Vande Bharat Express train service is expected to become even more popular among passengers looking for a comfortable and hassle-free travel experience.
However, it's important to note that the Delhi-Jaipur Vande Bharat service ticket fare is likely to be higher than the average AC train charge. While a normal AC train charges between Rs 400-600 for travel between Delhi and Jaipur, the Vande Bharat Express service is expected to cost between Rs 800-1000 for a chair car ticket and between Rs 1500-Rs 2000 for an executive class ticket.
