This trip is extra special as it was our first road trip as a couple. We left from our then house in Vadodara, Gujarat at 7 AM and We checked in our hotel 'Mewar Haveli' by 1 PM. We had lunch with a view of Lake Pichola. And then left for a stroll around the city by walk.
We were at Bagore ki Haveli for Sunset, then started walking around the lake.. Gangaur Ghat and Hanuman Ghat.
Had an amazing dinner at Hari Garh, super romantic setting and right beside the lake. I still can't get over the night view of Lake Pichola.
Tip - Always rent a two wheeler, this saves money and you get to explore this beautiful city at your own pace.

Explored the Hathi pol market for choodi (bangles)
Went around the City Palace and took the Boat ride to the beautiful Jag mandir
The best things in Udaipur are FREE.. so don't miss the Sunset view from Dudh talai, it was surreal
Post sunset, we headed for our Candle lit dinner at Ambrai. Always get a reservation for this place.
Then we spent over an hour just star gazing beside the lake.
Udaipur will always be one of the the best trips ever!
Ambrai is a must visit during your trip to Udaipur. The food is obviously great but the ambiance is beautiful. We had live instrumental music being performed and they were playing all Hindi Classics and with the sound of the lake beside you.. it's just surreal.
Always get a reservation the day before coz it's always full.
