Female Solo Trip to Amritsar

This was in March and I decided to explore Amritsar from Jaipur..Instantly booked Flights to Amritsar and got to -fro trip of 2days in 6600 Inr
I booked Royal Orchid Regenta central Hotel which was also good in price of 1700per Night .This was five star hotel and I got deal on Agoda.com

I planned my journey on weekday to get less crowd on all places and travel...
I booked 5 star hotel to make sure that covid protocols are followed..

Reached amritsar at 10:20am and took Cab to hotel..reached at 10:45Am . Was very pleased to reach there. Put my luggage there and then I took Ola cab to golden Temple..reached temple at 12:30 pm..took langar and clicked beautiful pics of golden temple..

You will find peace and love at this place..you will get a feeling of satisfaction which cannot be expressed in words..took Langar and then came out of golden temple..I did parikrama of temple which is of around 1km a single in corridor..

I didn't went for darshan as it was very crowded and people didn't used mask..

I came out and checkout the Heritage walk..checked Bharawan Da dhaba from outside but didn't tried anything as I already had langar..

I went ahead and seen Jaliyan Wala Bagh from outside..this was closed due to maintainece work

Then tried Kulfi at one of the shop and it was Yummy...then I came out and reached at circle from where I can tuktuk or auto for city..

It was 3PM and I decided to go durgiyana Temple which is replica of golden temple..I spent around 20mins and did darshan and came out..

It was 3:30 pm and I was feeling little hungry so I decided to go Kulcha Land which is on main road ranjeet Avenue and it was good for solo traveller..

There were Yummy kulchas with chole and chatni..

Ranjeet Avenue and Lawrence Road ..both are posh locality of amritsar..where you can try local or restaurant food without any worries..

It was 5Pm and I was tired ..so I decided to go to hotel and take some rest..
I reached hotel at 5:35Pm ..and watched television..explored Hotel interiors and it was very beautiful as it was 5 star...I also talked with hotel staff and came to know few things about amritsar history..

Next morning ,at 8Am ..I got ready and decided to go to Govindgarh Fort and Partition museum..both places were good..and I was able to cover both places by 1PM ..as it became very hot in afternoon..I decided to go Katra Bazar ( place near Golden temple . Shopping market)

I took Ola auto and reached there at 2PM..then I needed to walk to reach Bharawan Da dhaba ..I was really tired...

I tried Thali there which had sarso da sagh, chole,paneer ..food wise it was okayish..but it was worth a try..I tried a full glass of lassi to get some relief from heat..
It was 3PM ..and I went out in market

To try some Punjabi salwar suit and Fulkari chunni

I also bargained for Punjabi jooti ..it was tough experience as I need to fight for bargaining a lot..

Finally I went to a showroom and took one patiyala suit where I didn't needed to bargain..

It was 6PM and I was feeling hungry again..so I went to a shop to try delicious kulfi and Falooda ..it was Yummy ..and then I went for my hotel ..

In Covid..it is night curfew from 7pm to 10pm ..so I need to reach on time..

I ordered..Rajma Chawal in Hotel which came around 420INr for a single plate..but It was Yummy ...

Then I went for sleep

My Flight was from 10:30AM ..so I took a cab to Airport and reached at 9:45 there..It was mandatory to have covid report at Jaipur airport..

I did my covid test at Jaipur only before leaving which was valid till 72 hrs ..so I was relieved..

Then I reached at Jaipur and shown covid test report after multiple checks...flights were not crowded as I travelled on weekday...it was pleasant experience
