We always head over to IRCTC website for any train bookings, which is run by the Central Government.

But did you know that there are many private trains that have been flagged off from the IRCTC website? Well, IRCTC can't be held responsible for making our train journeys unique and memorable, always!

Here's all you need to know about the private train:

The first private train, Sai Sadan Express, started under Bharat Gaurav Scheme run by South Star Rail starts from Coimbatore and finish it's journey at the Sainagar, Shirdi of Maharashtra.

Flagged off on June 14th at 6pm, from the Coimbatore North Station in Tamil Nadu, this train reached it's final destination on June 16th, 7.25am.

Stoppages in between:

Tirupur, Erode, Salem, Yelahanka, Dharmavaram, Mantralayam, and Wadi are some of the stations mentioned where the train will stop.

Other than this, on it's way to Shirdi, this train will also make a 5-hour halt at Mantralayam to allow the passengers to visit the famous temple of the town.

More about the temple:

Mantralayam, a small town in Andhra Pradesh, bordering Karnataka on the banks of Tunghbadhra River is famous for a saint, Raghavendra Swami who entered into a Samadhi alive in front of his disciples in 17th century. And hence a temple has been made for Him, where it is to be believed that He has blessed people from all walks of life, caste and races with innumerable miracles.

Distance : 15km from Mantralayam Station.

Talking about the Ticket Prices:

The prices are comparable with the rates of IRCTC.

Tourists can opt from 2 different tariff options of purchasing a train ticket or a package.

Sleeper, third class AC, second class AC and first class AC ticket prices are respectively Rs 2500, Rs 5000, Rs 7000, and Rs 10,000 and in package the prices are Rs 4,999, Rs 7,999, Rs 9,999, and Rs 12,999 respectively.

Advantages of booking a package:

A package provides the tourists transportation from Coimbatore to Shirdi with a VIP darshan pass for the temple, bus arrangements (wherever required), air-conditioned lodging for three people, tour guide assistance and travel insurance.

Adding to all the above facilities, the train will also have a housekeeping staff, who will monitor the cleanliness of the compartments in regular intervals and a fully equipped pantry car to provide special vegetarian food to the passengers.

Further the train has a high bass speaker with a radio jockey on board to play devotional songs during the journey.
