How to reach?
Although it can be reached by flight and by train, nothing beats a good road trip and then bliss!! Driving there also saves you from the hassle of changing transport and time because local conveyance follow their own "time zone".
There are mainly three routes that can be taken from Delhi to Everest Base Camp.
1. Delhi – Modi Nagar – Khatauli – Muzaffarnagar – Roorkee – Dehradun – Mussoorie (Fastest) - EBC
2. Delhi – Meerut Expressway – Muzaffarnagar – Deoband – Saharanpur – Dehradun – EBC
3. Delhi – Baraut – Shamli – Rampur Maniharan – Saharanpur – Dehradun – Mussoorie – EBC
Preferable Route
Fastest is Route 1, saves a good half an hour.

By Air
Jolly Grant Airport – 60 kms from Mussoorie
By Train
The nearest railway station is Dehradun Railway Station which is 34kms from Mussoorie. From the station local buses and taxis are available to reach Mussoorie
Trains Recommended Due to Timings:
Shatabdi – Leaves Delhi at 6:45 am and reaches Dehradun railway Station at 12:50pm
Nanda Devi AC Express – Leaves Delhi at 11:50pm and reaches Dehradun at 5:40 am.
Best time to visit:
Beat the heat and visit during summers; March to June because the temperature here remains pleasant (between 15 and 25 degrees) and the sky clear making it easy to visually access the Himalayas.
And if you want to play in the snow pay a visit between November to February.
