Devprayag sangam

Devprayag sangam , final prayag ,one of the Panch Prayag (five confluences) of Alaknanda River where Alaknanda meets the Bhagirathi river and both rivers thereafter flow on as the Ganga..
It is placed on of the sacred place for Hindus ,as Hindu worship river ganga as maa ganga and the named place for maa ganga is truly devotional for them.
It is beautifully confluence of two rivers which is seen as surreal.and devprayag is itself placed as holy place with  Raghunath Ji Temple, Dhaneshwar Mahadev Temple, and Chandrabadni Temple.
Devprayag is approx 110kms from dehradun, uttarakhand and is accessible by bus ,local share taxi and your own vehicle and connected with well developed roads .
