Day 1

What's your take on a day trip? Well for me it's fun and revelation. You can know how fascinating your surroundings are. I and my pal (Mani)started our journey in a bike🏍 to Kotilingalu(Kotilingeshwara Temple) and Avani(Ramalingeshwara Temple).
While we were travelling on the road with lush green farms on both sides🛣, suddenly we saw an ample lake which is aquamarine in colour and approached thinking it is due to a distant sight. When we got there it's colour is original.

After expending some time relishing the view, we were back on the path The decision to visit Kotilingeshwara Temple(2hr journey from Bangalore) was taken especially after watching the movie called "Sri Manjunatha".You will be encircled by lakhs of Lingas where ever you walk across the temple. Atheist turned ardent devotee Manjunathasharma believed that he taunted Lord Sri Manjunatha 1 crore times, to acquit himself of his past sins he created 1 crore Lingas with the help of his family and Ambikeshwara Varama(local Viceroy).

It was the afternoon, We were strolling outside of the sheltered paths on the hot 🔥 stone marbles so we could get some pictures perfectly 🙂. That's the time we realised the significance of planning. Believe it or not, you could have made dosa on it😂. After walking to every cranny, we went to the local shopping centre bought a miniature Linga. It is these stuff that recalls your times upon looking in your life forth. From there jumping up and down,😄 riding a bike on vague roads reached Avani Ramalingeshwara Temple.A great place for antiquity.

This temple dates back to the 10th century, where it is the dwelling of saint Valmiki and Lord Rama visited Avani during his return to Ayodhya From lanka. According to Valmiki Rama's sons, lava and kusha were born here on a hill ( Lava kusha betta)

It's the antiquity, history and architecture that make me visit this kind of locations. Maybe I am captivated to ancient work🙂.

We began our return voyage to Narsapur Lake to catch up with the sunset which we visited in the morning. Upon arriving there we saw the sun in a way that we haven't . After a while, we captured those glorious pictures and headed back.
