An expedition to Mt. DKD-II a climb unforgettable.
Spending days amongst the Himalayas and climbing against gravity with gaining altitude the thrill, the mountains keep you blowin with the wind. We spent about 20 days in the glaciers, from our first proper Base Camp where we stayed and acclimatised was itself 3 days of long and hard trekking away from the road head. When I reached there I saw the mountain DKD I was humbled and I could feel and urge to Climb that godamn mountain. We acclimatised there for a good 8 days where we did a lot of Ice Craft (climbing) and a lot of snow craft. After 3 days at Base Camp we shifted to Advanced Base Camp and 4 days later load ferry to Summit camp. Or summit camp was at 15,500ft above sea level. Sleeping in out tents on Ice sheets. Crevasses all around.. avalanches every now and then. woohoo it was a crazy feeling up there. And the final climb... It is the hardest and the most rewarding experience ever. Climb Onn
