Chamurchi Eco Park is a project of Department of Tourism, Govt. of West Bengal. The construction of the park has been started 5 years back and completed in Oct’17. The said Eco Park is located on bank of the river Rati and the river Sukti from where tourist can have a 180 degree views of beautiful hills of Bhutan. There are 6 double bed rooms and a dormitory for 8 persons available in the lodge. The said park is having all the facilities like cafeteria, Restaurant, Convino shop etc. both for residential tourist as well as for day visitors in the park. The beautiful landscaping, GAZBO for seating in the garden, Watch tower, land telescope and overall the huge garden will be a place of interest for all the tourists.

The park having adventure activities like rock climbing in the artificial wall, Burma Bridge, Zip line and full with other huddles.

Far from the bustling city, the geographical location, the panorama, abundance of natural beauty like wide riverbed with white pebbles, lush green mountain range of Bhutan, journey through quaint tea garden and above all the serene ambiance and absolute silence are the real attractions for the tourist. Chamurchi Eco Resort is completely a less trodden destination making it a tourist rush free zone.

Taking a stroll along the bank of meandering river stream Diana while feasting the eyes with the vista of snowcapped fortress looming over the emerald green can be an ideal way to spend a laid back evening in Chamurchi while adoring the beauty of nature.

How to Reach?

The nearest rail station is Banarhat where a couple of passenger and DMU trains stop. From Banarhat take the north-bound road and drive for about 10 kms to reach Chamurchi. Road travellers driving through Dooars by National Highway 31 also have to take a detour at Banarhat to reach here. There is also an alternative route which starts on the East side of Diana River Bridge. This route is slightly shorter.
Kanchankanya Special Sealdah to Banarhat (8:35 P.M - 10:11 A.M.)
Banarhat to Sealdah (4:59P.M - 8:20 A.M).From Bagdogra Airport by road it's only 105 K.M.
