Day 1

Our stay was at Hotel O'saiba beach resort, Mandrem (North Goa) a friend of mine Bhushan recommended it and it was a fabulous deal @1500 for 4 person deluxe suit with in house Bar/restaurant/spacious lawn.

Our day started experiencing sunrise in sea faced bistro where we had our breakfast @ Mandrem beach which in my opinion one of the most astounding landscape yet less crowded beach. Had our Israeli breakfast (as we saved quite so our focus was to utilize that pennies in cuisine/drink/exploring/water sports).

Then we headed toward top of a nearby hill in Mandrem, got a mesmerizing view from there. spent some time there then rode to popular attraction of Goa Va-gator beach, Baga beach & Anjuna beach, Chapora fort, Auguda, et cetera.

last of the day was Baga beach where we spent our time till late night and then returned to our stay.

Day 3

As most of us always keep planning & planning but that day actually comes for a few when our plans got implemented, and I think myself among those lucky ones.

It was afternoon of 21st Dec, 2017 when I was in my college campus and got the call from 1 of my friend's friend and he was (is) quite aware of the fact that whenever someone just given a slightest hint I would be hyper-ready to plan and implement outing plan.

So, he asked me to plan something for 4-5 days and keep it under low budget. 2 of his friends too were interested & accordingly I mentioned him Goa..His reaction was Bhai Bas Chal Le Ab To( Let's just go now).

To keep it under low budget we decided to do this trip via our Bikes..they are all super excited now. Pune to Goa (Mandrem) is approx. 440 km

As planned, we started on the morning of 23rd Dec, 2017 from Pune, Maharashtra & decided to take the route which is good for riding though 20-30 km additional from the another route available.

Pune - Shriwal - Khandala - Satara - Kolhapur - Karad - Nipani - (Right turn from NH48/ Hotel Goa Ves) Ardal - Gavse - Amboli ghat - Sawantwadi - Pernem - Mandrem. The ride taken approx 8.5 hrs including 1 lunch and few tea & photo breaks.

Reached our destined stay around 7 Pm. Road is good till Nipani and from we rode on one way ghat section and the condition of the rode is just Ok, neither too bad nor good.

Day 2

Morning again started with enjoying sunrise in Mandrem but this time it was @ a privately maintained beach and after breakfast again headed towards Calangute beach, Candolim beach where we planned for water sports.

In the afternoon we got deal for INR 1600 per head for combo of water sports including banana boat ride, jet skiing, wind surfing, parasailing that was the best part of the trip.

Enjoyed adventurous activities and our fulled up even more and decide for full night out and done so.

Day 4

It was Christmas so visited basilica do bom jesus church and got the positive vibes then just started roaming on our bikes after getting some ideas of least popular locally recommended must visit place.

That locations i'm not gonna mention here! Don't mind that if someone is really want few majestic places to explore then show your interest by replying to this and I will personally tell you.

In the evening, rest of my buddies bought few of their bucket listed fermented ale (P.S. I am not promoting any kind of illegal way to carry less taxed products from one state to another)

Day 5

Got up early, freshened up and had our breakfast as it was our back to pavillion day so gonna be again full day ride to Pune.

Started on our beloved machines and taken few breaks again for sugarcane juice & light refreshment including big break in Kolhapur for famous Tambda pandhara rassa/mutton. Rest 3 savoured it as I was the only vegetarian so enjoyed spicy veg Angara with solkadi.

Reached Pune around 8:00PM. Hence the Goa trip done & dusted.

Pro Tips -

1) if you are coming from Pune or Mumbai can carry your own 2 wheeler as its quite easy ride from both the mentioned places and also after reaching here you don't need to rent separate 2 wheeler for local commute which saves your 1000-1500 daily.

2) Stay in north Goa it's quite reasonable and have plenty of least crowded beaches.

3) Wear helmet & don't mix drink and drive. Be respectful towards local culture, heritage & traditions and prefer to eat in local eateries to get the authentic taste of Goan food.

4) Don't throw trash on beaches or roads. If planning to buy sea souvenirs then prefer buying it from shops away from beach it will cost less. Carry sun cream above SPF-40 and good quality sun glasses for wonderful experience.
