Manali

Manali a Beautiful township of Himalayas will be on the top of my list this December As everyone knows it’s Popular for its heavenly snowfall and referred as one of the best destinations for all type of travellers  and if you really want to experience the pleasant weather, the snowfall And its beautiful view then you must visit Manali.

It is Located in Kullu, District and about 540 kms from Delhi,India. This most popular travel destination serves as the gateway to spiti and leh.

The climate in winters are normally cold and cool during summers .Here’s the temperatures ranges from −7 °C to 30 °C  over the year with the hottest day crossing 30 °C and the coldest day going below −7 °C .

Transport – You can take a Flight to reach Manali the nearest airport is Bhuntar Airport.

Manali can be reached by road (own vehicle) from Delhi upto Ambala to Chandigarh passes through Bilaspur, Mandi. Overnight Volvo Busses are also Available for Delhi to Manali from all major bus terminals.

I will not recommend you to travel by train as There is no close railhead available close to Manali.

Explore Manali- While Exploring the beautiful valleys of manali don’t forget to visit the Rohtang Pass and Solang Valley Both the places will give You a different experience all together whether it’s about Adventure sports , or sloping mountains, trekking & skiing or getting a view of Himalayan peaks and Beautiful green Valleys. Day 2

Shimla

Shimla, The Capital and the largest city of Himachal Pradesh is a very popular holiday destination and well known for its Victorian architecture which is reflected in certain area of Shimla. It is also a hotspot for Newly Weds and Love Birds.

This hill station is an ideal place for snow buffs  as you can enjoy the ice-skating and skiing on the snowfall makes the destination the most visited gateway in the winter season.

The City stretches nearly 9.2 kilometres from east to west. The city is situated 88 km from Kalka, 114 km from Chandigarh and 350 From Delhi, the national capital. Kalka can be reached within 2.5 hours, Chandigarh can be reached in 3 hours and 15 minutes. Delhi is around 7 hours away from Shimla.

Climate -The climate in Shimla is predominantly cool during winters and moderately warm during summer. Temperatures typically range from −4 °C to 31 °C  over the course of a year.

Transport- You Can Reach by Air for Shimla Airport which is Situated 23 kms form the city.

Or you can Travel by your own car or taxi as Shimla is well connected by road network. or either you can opt for train too as the city has a total of three railway station with Shimla. The route is famous for its beautiful scenic view.

Places to Visit Shimla: There are lot Many places to see in Shimla but I am placing some of most fascinating views here .

The mall Road is the main highlight of Shimla famous for shopping and its food joints to explore

The Ridge – It’s a large open space alongside the mall road will give you a beautiful scenic view of the valley .i just cant express the gorgeous view it just beyond imagination. Do not forget to capture the views .

Jakhoo- It is 2 kms away from Shimla and highest peak In the city will give you a view of snow- covered Himalayas. You will also got to see the lord Hanuman old temple at the hill top and it’s popular amongst travellers .

Badi ki Dhar – This Place is Famous for its lord shiva temple and its hill top view .

Kufri – around 16kms frm Shimla it is a local winter sports centre and having a small zoo .

Day 3

Leh Ladakh

If you are an adventures person and love Mountains to trek then Pack Your Bags for this ultimate trip of leh Ladakh . The city gets aesthetic snowfall view in winters makes your travel journey a fruitful decision.

Leh is the capital and the largest town of the union teritory of ladakh in India.Leh is connected via NH-1 to Srinagar and to manali in the leh manali highway.

Climate – Leh has a cold Desert Climate with long cold winters from November till early March. The remaining months the temp is fine during day time.

Transport –

Leh is connected by 2 Highways NH-1 from the Kashmir valley and the NH-3 From Leh-Manali Highway.

You can also take a flight from delhi from Air india which provides weekly services to Jammu and to Srinagar.

There is no Railway service in Ladakh .

Places to Visit ;

Leh is very beautiful in itself and it is very difficult to tell which places to visit but I tried to mention the most of them .

Pangong lake, Magnetic Hill, Leh Palace, Chadar Trek ,Tso Moriri, Zanskar Valley, Phugtal Monastery, Shanti Stupa Ladakh, Khardung La and Many More..

In the End I would say that do Visit  these places you will love it.
