About the Property:
Giles Knapton, the managing director at Driftwood Holidays and a passionate traveller, is the man behind this unique property. Coco Shambhala in Sindhudurg , built in 2009, has been awarded multiple titles since its inception. It took four years of trekking to find the perfect location and two years of designing to come up with such out of the box creation. The aim to build this property was not just to attract tourists for leisure vacations in the midst of nature, but to also promote tourism of Sindhudurg. This property does not try to stand out from the town but attempts to camouflage with the local culture, local language and also local cuisine. After Sindhudurg, four more luxury villas were built in Goa.
Named after the famous Coco Beach, the property has four stunning villas located right in the middle of Sindhudurg’s greenery. Each Villa has a private plunge pool and two large bedrooms, all of which faces the vast Arabian Sea. With complete focus on sustainable tourism, the builders have made sure to leave no stone unturned. From chemical free infinity pools to coconut furniture, they have it all covered. The architecture of this place gives out a little bohemian vibe for its open areas and jungle style gardens.
