We left from Chandigarh to Kasol by bus at around 9-10pm and reached Kasol by 5-6am in the morning.
Then we booked a Hotel for us at very reasonable rates. You can easily get a room for 4-5 person @ 6-700/room in Kasol.
As we reached this early we had the whole day to go mad.
Then we left for Chalal village after killing some time in Kasol. Chalal is about 2kms from Kasol and is famous for its Magic Brownie(if you know you know).😁
We spent our eve and night having unlimited amount of fun which I cant explain in words.
We woke up at around 7am in the morning and just left to do something as we were restless. We went under the Chalal bridge and had a very refreshing bath in the hot water pond.
Then we left for Tosh in a taxi which cost us 200-300Rs. As we reached there , we were so hungry , so everyone decided to have some food before we began the hike up to Kheerganga.
We began our hike at around 3pm and later decided to continue in the dark even being warned by the people hiking down.
We thought we would easily cover the remaining 5-6km in dark but who knew what awaited us ahead. The trek was really easy but in winters a little carelessness could cost you your life. There was black ice all over the way , and it was really slippery. Every one of us slipped real bad in the dark and our moral was almost nil. Then we finally say camps where we stayed for the night. It was 3kms before Kheerganga. Unfortunately I couldn't capture the camps but they were really good with a chimney inside every tent to keep us warm and the food they offered was also great.
Next day we woke up early and left for our destination. The last 3 kms were the toughest , the Black ice patches became more dangerous and frequent. But we crossed them anyhow and reached the place for which we came.
Then we began the hike downhill at 3:30-4pm and reached Barsaini , a village near Tosh at around 8pm.
We had a very good night after the hike and explored the local on this day.
Let the photos talk now!
