999 reasons to visit "The Pink City" - Jaipur

It all started with a bus journey from Delhi to Jaipur with a pocket friendly fare of Rs. 280/-(Haryana Travels). If you urge for comfort you can also take the inter state Deluxe Ac/Non Ac buses that will nearly cost you around 600 to 800 rupees.

Even before entering Jaipur you will start getting the historical vibes and mesmerizing view of the palaces, resorts,small villages that give you a glimpse of there tradition. You will find people wearing turbans & dhoti and women's in traditional dresses and off course there welcome gesture :)

Moving further the bus journey was not that devastating of what we thought until we left Delhi. The ride was pleasant, soothing weather and the beautiful view was adding cherry to the top.

We de-boarded at Sindhi camp (Bus station) that is also nearby Jaipur railway station. This is the best place to look around for a affordable hotel since this place falls in the center of pink city and you can easily get transportation service to any other location from here.

Finding a hotel or a resort in Jaipur is not a big deal as you can find plenty of hotels and resorts at each step with varying prices.The best option that I want to recommend if you are travelling solo/with friends, you can go for the Dharamshala which is nearby the railway station, Com'on don't judge me for this. Even i got the same picture in my head when i heard about this word "Dharamshala" but wait it's not what it looks likes. This Dharamshala is way more comfortable and beautiful than a normal 4 star hotel and that's the reason why you don't get a booking easily. All types of rooms are available there which will cost you Rs.100 (Non Ac) to Rs. 400(Ac) per day. Isn't it amazing?

Now, talking about the places you should visit in Jaipur, hey wait first you need to decide what's your choice of commute will be? Because the Auto driver will going to charge you way more than you expect and it's not at all pocket friendly, so here what you can do is to rent a bike or scooty that will cost you Rs.300/day and trust me it's a life saver. All the tourist places are near by, in order to skip the hustle you can start with the well know HAWA- MAHAL that's actually at the center of the city.

Your second stop should be JAL MAHAL that falls on the way to Amber fort, but i recommend to visit Jal Mahal in the evening as the sunset add more beauty to the view.

Followed by Jal Mahal the roads will pave your way to Amber fort, Jaigarh fort and Nahargarh Fort (remember the drunk and fall scene of Amir khan from the movie Rang de basanti?).

All the 3 forts falls in a row, about 1-5 km distance away from each other. A Scooty/bike ride is recommended.

Since it's said "The best view comes after the hardest climbs" , once you reach Nahargarh you will have the beautiful view of the Jaipur city that you can enjoy with a Can of Beer at the Mount Top restaurant.

If you are a master in Bargaining then this place have a lot to offer you, cheap yet good in quality, from Sari to Sandals,from earnings to daily accessories you can get everything here. With shopping you can enjoy the street food and trust me the taste will delight your mood.

Last but not the least, the journey is still not over, Jaipur too have it's mesmerizing night life, it's upon you how you gonna spent it? In a traditional way or modern?
