1. Nainital is a Himalayan resort town in the Kumaon region of India’s Uttarakhand state, formerly a British hill station, it’s set around Nainital Lake, a popular boating site with Naina Devi Hindu Temple on its north shore. if you want to go to Nainital from Delhi then there are 2 cheap options one you can go by Train which runs from Delhi To Kathgodam railway station from where you can take share taxi for Nainital, Catch the Kathgodam Shatabdi Express, the fastest train that will take you from New Delhi to Kathgodam. It starts from New Delhi and reaches the 6th station, Kathgodam passing through Ghaziabad, Moradabad, Rampur, Lal Kuan, and Haldwani. It covers a distance of 281 km. and the train starts from New Delhi at 06:20 am and ends its journey at Kothgodam at 11:40 am. The total time it takes to reach is 5 hr 20 minutes.

Also you can take bus from Delhi ISBT which will cost you around 600-800 INR, up next for stay you will find hostel and hotels as cheap as 500 INR per night and food can be done in between 300-500 Per person, for sight seeing you can rent a bicycle or bike in Nainital which is way more convenient and pocket friendly or you can choose public transport for the same.
2. Rishikesh - Rishikesh is primarily famous for its spiritual importance. There are a number of Yoga Ashramas for practicing meditation. Rishikesh is the beginning of the famous Char Dham Yatra (Gangotri, Yamunotri, Kedarnath, Badrinath). Also if you are looking for a peaceful relaxing weekend near Delhi then I would highly recommend you to go for 2-3 days trip to Rishikesh you will fall in Love with the place.
By Train. The nearest railhead to Rishikesh is in Haridwar which is approximately 25 kilometres away. Haridwar, in turn, is linked to major Indian cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Lucknow and Varanasi. Some of the popular trains are Shatabadi Express, Jan Shatabdi, AC Special Express and Mussoorie Express and from hardware railway station you can take tub-tuk or local bus which will take you to Rishikesh in just Rs. 50/- Another Cheap option from Delhi is Bus you can take from ISBT Delhi to Rishikesh it will cost you around 500-700 INR.
STAY- In Rishikesh you don't have to find much because there are plenty of hostels to stay in just Rs. 400 to 500 per night with breakfast and my personal favorite stay in Rishikesh is The Hosteller and Hideaway bedzz you can check them out for your next trip.
FOOD- hence Rishikesh has tourists all around the year you can find small stalls from street food every where to eat something and the other and also there are many cafes over there where you can have your meal with a view of Ganga :)
3. Udaipur - "the most romantic spot on the continent of India" by British administrator James Tod, Udaipur is a tourist destination and is known for its history, culture, scenic locations and the Rajput-era palaces. It is popularly known as the "City of Lakes" because of its sophisticated lake system. For Udaipur there are 2 option for budget travel one we choose via bus which took 12 hours From Delhi to reach Udaipur and cost is around 1200/- INR and if you want to travel via train then There are around 2 trains runs from Delhi to Udaipur on a daily basis. The following trains start from Delhi to Udaipur. MEWAR EXPRESS (12963) , CHETAK EXP (12981) its comparatively cheaper than bus 400 INR for sleeper ticket.
Stay - I would recommend you guys to stay in Old city which has all the places and vibe of Udaipur and you will easily find hostels over there starting from Rs. 400 to 600 we stayed in Hosteller which was a great stay but there are many hostels in Udaipur you can look for.
FOOD And Travel- again Udaipur has all the flavor when it comes to food Rajasthani food has some uniqueness like other states but you must try dal baati churma when you are in Udaipur you will love it, also for travel around Udaipur I would suggest you to take tuk-tuk which is super affordable and you will explore with local on the streets of Udaipur.
4. Agra - Agra is a major tourist destination because of its many Mughal-era buildings, most notably the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri, all of which are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. But beyond Taj Agra has so many things to offer if you will explore this city closely in depth and for Delhi fam its hardly 4 hours drive and cheapest options are Bus or Train.
Food & Stay - For stay in budget everywhere you will find hostels which is economical yet safe for any traveler be it solo or in group and food choices is agin depends on you but Agra has own tadka when it comes to food.
5. Dharmshala & Macelodganj - Dharamshala lies on the scenic stretch of land of Kangra Valley and McLeod Ganj, also referred to as Upper Dharamsala, is situated ten kilometers uphill from the main Dharamsala city.
way to Reach Dharamshala is By bus which runs from Delhi ISBT there are many Volvo Buses and HRTC buses which are quiet economical then Volvo ticket cost lies around 600-1000 depends on availability.
Stay And Food- whenever I go around Dharamshala I prefer stay in Macelodganj because it has calm in it self where as Dharamshala has city vibe and you will find many hostels and homestays in Mcleod ganj around 400-500 per night as well as you will get cheap food options around the place there are plenty of cafes and street food.
