I'd returned to Jorhat in Assam because the weather wasn't great, but suddenly it changed again and looked like it would be okay for a few days more.

So, instead of heading West to Guwahati, I set off on my Royal Enfield motorcycle and went further East to see the newly opened Bhupen Hazarika Setu (or Dhola Sadiya Bridge) which is said to be India's longest bridge.

Having gone that far East, I went further and entered Arunachal Pradesh again to go to Tezu, from where I was able to visit the famous Parshuram Kund (a pilgrimage site situated amidst the most stunning landscape beside the River Lohit.

Then it was riding the 600-odd km back West to Guwahati. I stopped at the historic town of Sibsagar on the return leg as well.

The weather was ridiculously hot by now and humidity levels were unbearable. So, barely 20 km away from Guwahati, I turned off and made one last dash in to the hills of Meghlaya hoping for some respite. This time, I went to Jowai to see the famous Krang Suri waterfall. Words cannot describe how beautiful it was. Watch the video to know more.
