1500 Km In Himachal Pradesh(By Road)

Delhi to Amritsar(455 km: 6-7 Hours)

We started From delhi around 6 in the morning for Amritsar, we didn’t know what’s our next destination after this. This trip was unplanned and we just wanted to explore himachal by road,These places which I travelled is not that much fun and exciting,but if you are true road lover you can do this.

Places to eat-

1. Lunch at Makhan Fish And Chicken Corner

2.Snacks at Rajender Da Dabha

3 Dinner at Kulcha Land(Best Amritsari Nan)

Places to visit-

1. Golden Temple

2. Jallianwala Bagh

3. Gobindgarh Fort( Closes at 10)

4. Wagah Border

Amritsar to Dalhousie(202km:5 Hours)

It was raining continuously throughout the way,the highway you will be driving is just amazing plus the rain. One of the best Long drives of my life.

Places to visit-

1. Daikund peak( I did 17km Trek there,Will be covering in another Trip)

2. Chamela Lake

3. Sach Pass( Full Day)

Dalhousie to Chamba(131km:4.30 Hours)

Chamba to khajjiar(22km)

As i was trekking this day,My family visited this place by car and I trekked from Daikund peak to Jot Pass(17km as i lost Route)and when reached Khajjiar i wan not in a condition to click pictures.

Dalhousie to Mcleodganj(121km:4 Hours)

I wished to do Triund trek on more time,but because of my last trek i avoided it.

Places To Visit In Mcleodganj-

1. Triund Trek(1Night)

2. Bhagsu Waterfall

3. Tsuglagkhang Complex-Is the place where the Dalai Lama resides.

4. Naddi

5. St. George Church

6. Tibetan Museum

Places to eat here-

1. Mcleo Cafe

2. Street Food

Dharamshala is just few km from here,You can visit the famous stadium located at the height of 1457 ft. It is one of the highest stadiums in the world.

While coming back to delhi i visited all the important temples in himachal region. I don’t like going to such places but as i was forced i had to. But i loved the drive in this part of himachal. There is other side of himachal if you are going through temples. It is believed you have to these 4 temples one by one in order. I don’t remember the order but i can tell you the names.

1. Chamunda Devi Temple

2. Naina Devi Temple

3. Jawala Ji Temple

4. Chintpurni Mata Temple

While coming to delhi before entering Una District I Crossed Bakhra- Nangal Dam(Another Trip)

As the distance to be covered was more and places were many this day,i had to take a stay in Una.

Next day we Visited two main Gurudwara’s on the way-

1. Kiratpur Sahib

2. Anandpur sahib

Then straight to Delhi.
