Street foods are ready to eat food or drink generally sold in streets, public areas like a market, in fair by a hawker, a vendor with a movable stall. Indian streets are well famous for its cheap and tasty food items. Every Indian city has its own specialty of all time favorite snacks.
1. CHOLE BHATURE
Chole bhature is one of the best options for breakfast when you are in India. Combination of puffy Bhaturas (fried bread made from maida flour) and spicy channa masala served with green chutney, raw and freshly prepared carrot pickle, onion and spicy green chilly salad. Round and fried puri served with a mixture of flavored and spicy water, tamarind chutney (called meethi chutney), mint chutney, filled with boiled potato, onion or chickpeas. One of the favorite street foods across India.
7. ALOO TIKKI
Spicy and crispy deep fried Tikki made with boiled potatoes and veggies. Simply served with tamarind and mint chutney, curd, namkeen and pomegranate seeds. Taste best when served hot and when stuffed with moong dal, sweet potatoes and a lot of spices.
8. SHIKANJI
One of the popular summer drinks in India. A spicy mix of cumin, lemon, ginger, black pepper, mint, black salt, chili or hot pepper powder. Shikanji can compliment any of your street food dishes to drink along with.
9. CHOWMEIN
Noodles made with soya sauce and lots of veggies like green leafy cabbage, carrot, tomatoes, onions, green onion, capsicum and lots of chilies. Taste best with green chili chutney, chilly vinegar mix, and ketchup.
10. CHUSKI

11. MOONG DAL KE PAKORE
Moong dal ladoo or Ram ladoo is made with moong dal and served with green spicy chutney and reddish or onions. Taste best when served hot and with Shikanji/Jaljeera.

17. PAAN
Famous in most of the places in India. It is a sweet dish filled with gulkand which is made up of dry rose petals. Paans are served in different flavors such as rose, chocolate, white chocolate, muglai paan, strawberry, and many other lip-smacking flavors.

Made with basan(dal) with a spicy filling of masala potatoes and paneer. Taste best when served with sweet and spicy chutney.
19. DAULAT KI CHAT
Famous in streets of Delhi in Chandni Chawk. It is made with milk and served with sugar and jaggery. Taste best with dry rose petals. A must try when you are in the capital of India.
20. JHALMURI
It is a popular street food which is made with puffed rice, onions, tomatoes and lots of spices and lemon. A snack which is available at almost every part of India.
