Day 1

We started our journey from Mulund around 6.30pm and reached Igatpuri around 11.30pm without any haste. The journey from Igatpuri to the base village i.e Baari is quite confusing. A perfectly skilled Google Map user will lead you to the base village. There is always one or two villagers welcoming you and they will show you the way to start the start. There is always a four legged travel guide accompanying you from the base to the top. It is advisable not to follow every way the dog treks. Initially you will feel the cold but as soon as you climb the trek, the heat generated in your body will eliminate the cold. As soon as the trek ascends there is discomfort in the legs with pain in calves or knees. But it can be overcome by taking rest for 5-7 mins for a 30 min trek which results in relaxation of body.
There are 4 railings to be climbed across the trek. The first railing is short and you will get basic idea of the railings. The 4 railings are in increasing length . The third railing consists of two consecutive attachments. The fourth and the final railing is moderately difficult because of the sudden cold winds dashing your body continously and the horizontal inclination of this railing is much more than the rest of the railings. It is advisable not to climb the railings in continuous groups. Maintain 10-15 steps difference between each other.
About  3 hours of rigorous climbing will lead you to the top of the peak. You will be enormously elated on reaching the top. Go through the vicinity of the temple and find a perfect place around it for a nap. There are  hutments (with torn plastic of the roof) on 1-side of the temple. Look around the sky you will find falling stars continuously (try making wishes 😇). Take a small nap and wake up around 4.45 am to have glimpse of the sunrise. Around 5 at the time of sunrise you will see sunrays spreading allover the area. Take multiple photos and selfies but be aware there are some broken railings around. Feel the sunrise at its best.
Around 7 am we started descending and had breakfast as soon as we climbed out the fourth railing. The dishes availabe here are poha, kanda poha ,maggi and tea. As soon as we finished the breakfast a villager objected is a simpler way to reach the base and accompanied us after 30-45 mins. Initially the second way looked quite simpler as we gradually descended down the slope. After around 30 mins the village overtook us and took the charge to guide us down to the base. There are curvy roads on this way. But we din't expect the simpler one to be the most tough one. There are small mountains connected to Kalsubai that needed to be trekked down to the base village. It seemed dead ends at the small mountains but here starts the challenge. There are small passage around this mountains with deep valleys on 1-side.
There were many topsy-turvy passagesarounsd it which hard to be climbed down. The villager will safely help you to reach the base. Be aware of discrete soil which will tend you to slip, overcome it by bendind yourself and slipping your legs through the ground with hands as support. With 3 hours of extreme trekking you  successfully reached the base drenched completely in sweet. And then after some rest, we scheduled our return journey.
You will return home will myriad photos and memories that are worth.
MIISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
