Maxim City Hall Dim Sum

One of my shortest trips to Hong Kong but we crammed a lot into about five days! The flight from Vegas is about sixteen hours so make sure you have snacks and sleep aids because you're going to be there a while. While we planned a number of our meals, we always leave at least a few unplanned since Hong Kong is a great place to find random snack stops and cafes along the street. We had a bunch of awesome meals for about $5 USD total for two people! If you want to explore, you MUST get an MTR Octopus card. It's the best way to get around and the MTR stations have some wonderful finds too. If you're looking for a great upscale dim sum experience, check out Maxim City Hall. There's a nice view and the food is really great. Make sure to get there early as there will be a line to get in.

My favorite place to stay in Hong Kong is the Langham Place Hotel. It's attached to a really awesome shopping center with a bunch of shops you can't find in the US. There's a ton of food options and a small market downstairs and the best part- it's attached to an MTR station making transportation SUPER easy.
I always make a stop at Disneyland Hong Kong because it changes constantly; this year there was the new Toy Story Land (still kicking myself for not getting Slinky Dog earmuffs).

My favorite experience was the Disney dim sum; I love themed things and the food was really good. You have to make a reservation but it is so worth it! The service is wonderful and it's a fun experience.

This is a really fun park. I'd never seen a real panda before (weird right) and this place has a lot of pandas. It's a really nice local theme park with a lot of great attractions. Make sure to round out your panda experience with panda buns (don't worry, it's just red beans) at the Panda Cafe!
