Why Go to Hong kong?
From the outside, Hong Kong might seem just a densely populated city, but it has so much to offer.
Beaches, mountains, one of the best skyline, cheapest michelin star restaurant, numbers of hiking trails, Hong Kong has got it all.
So now that you have decided to visit Hong Kong, let's get started with the 5-Days/ 1 week itinerary for your trip.
Day 1:
Since this is going to be your first day, just walk around, take the star ferry and explore the Tsim Sha Tsui neighbourhood.
How to get there: Alight at Tsim Sha Tsui station and take Exit J, which brings you out right on the Promenade.
Watch the symphony of lights- light & sound show at the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront, Timing- 8 PM every night (the show lasts for 13 minutes).
After the show, take MRT and alight at Jordan station, exit A and turn right along Jordan Road and then right into Temple Street. Explore the night market and end your day with some dim sum & waffles (at Mammy Pancakes- highly recommended).
Day 2:
Lantau Island & Tai O Fishing Village
To get to Lantau island, you need to take the metro to Tung Chung station where you can take the Ngong Ping cable cars, or the bus.
If you are willing to take the cable car just one-way, highly recommended to take the crystal cabin on the way back.
After exploring the Tian tan budha and Po lin monastery, walk 10-15 minutes (follow the signs) from the monastery to get to the wisdom path.
Have your lunch, and it's time to explore the fishing village.
How to get there: From Nong Ping Bus Station, take bus 21 for a 1-hour journey to Tai O Fishing Village.
From Tai O, you can return to Tung Chung MTR Station via bus 11 which follows a coastal path or return to Nong Ping Village and take the cable car back to Tung Chung.
Spend the evening back in kowloon area.
Day 3:
Macau is in the neighbor of Hong Kong and just an hour ferry ride away.
How to get there: By ferry (most recommended), It takes about 1 hour from Hong Kong to Macau. The one-way fare is about 170 HKD-195 HKD.
From ferry terminal in macau, you can get free shuttle to any of the casinos. Recommended to take the one to Grand Lisboa. (as most of the places to visit in macau is at a walking distance from there.)

1. Fisherman's wharf
2. Fortaleza Do Monte.
3. Ruins of St. Pauls
4. Senado Square
5. Venetian & Parisian - Casinos
Day 4:
Visit some of the insta-famous spots
Monster Building
After visiting Man Mo temple, take the tram up to Victoria peak.
Day 5:
A full day dedicated for shopping & theme park
Ocean Park
Two main reasons to visit Ocean park- Pandas & Penguins.
The theme park is located in the southern part of Hong Kong and divided into 2 part- waterfront and the summit.
How to get there- take the MTR South Island Line and embark on the Ocean Park Station.
The park is open from 10 PM to 7:30 PM.
Alternatively if you don't wish to visit a theme park, go for hiking.
