It all started when we got on a bus from sector 43, Chandigarh at 2:00am in the night. I was traveling with two of my girlfriends. We boarded the bus and passed away.
When I woke up at around 7:00am, I had an instant smile on my face. The bus was passing through the beautiful Kangra valley. Tree estates and lush green trees was a common site.
So we reached Bir around 9:30am. Had breakfast at a little dhaba. And went to Billing for paragliding. Billing is where the take off site is, it's about 18kms above Bir. You so fly down to Bir from Billing.
Paragliding costs around 3000/- bucks including the GoPro recording.
Post paragliding we had lunch a cute little Tibetan cafe. Momo's and thupka are a must when in Himachal.
We left for a trek to our campsite, which unfortunately we had to drop in between because I caught fever.
So we called for a cab that dropped us to our campsite and charged 600/- bucks for this.
Day 1 ended with a beautiful sunset, bonfire, music and so delicious food. We even witnessed a rainbow here.
At night we enjoyed star gazing. It's one of my favourite experiences from Bir.
We woke up around 6am the next morning. I opened the zip of our tent and was stunned to see the view outside ❤️
Floating clouds, sun rays, chilly breezy and some chai somes up a perfect morning 🌞
It was soon time to say bye bye to our campsite and head to explore the cafes and monasteries at Bir.
So we checked into a hotel in Bir, freshened up and went out for lunch at vairagi cafe. Cute little cosy cafe.
After the meal we decided to head to chokling monastery and soak in some positive vibes. It's a beautiful piece of architecture. You could spot monks offering their prayers.
We then went to the landing site and enjoyed the flying gliders with the sunset.
Then we boarded the bus back home. This somes up my weekend at Bir❤️
