Situated near Chitkul, last village bordering to Tibet, Rakchham is one of the unexplored destination in Kinnaur lies on the bank of Baspa River.

As a new visitor to the region, you might be surprised by the beauty of this place.

This tiny hamlet is surrounded by snow capped mountains and lush green forests , offers the glimpse of the beauty untouched by urbanisation. It is a perfect place for solitude lover.

Monsoon is the best season to visit this place, when entire region is covered with pink flowers.

These pink flowers were actually Ogla or Buckwheat fields.

I had time of my life here. I lived in a fairy tale home in mountain, talked to locals, had a walk in lap of nature for hours, slept with sound of river by my side.
