Trip to Parvati Valley

Parvati Valley is a small valley which hoards some of the most beautiful places and  has numerous villages on the banks of the river, hence the name, Parvati Valley. Apart from the difficult  Pin Parvati, many high treks also rise up from the Parvati basin to meet the higher  peaks and snow clad  villages at their summits.  Here is a quick sneak peek into some small and interesting hikes that one can do in the Parvati Valley and also enjoy the ravishing landscape .We all know that this valley is also considered as smokers hub with loud music taking out the very essence of the hills altogether. Nevertheless one can definitely find its way to quaint villages and enjoy the peaceful serenity of the place

Starting point being Delhi, one can reach Kasol by a overnight Volvo bus via Chandigarh and Bhuntar.

Basic itinerary that one can follow to experience the  charm of Parvati valley

Day 1
Kasol to Chalal to Rasol (approximately 10km hike both ways  )
Either stay at Rasol or return back from Rasol to Kasol.

Day 2
Kasol - Manikaran - Tosh
One can visit these places by simply taking the HRTC buses .

Day 3
Tosh - Kutla - Glacier ( approximately 10 km both ways )
Either stay at Tosh or Kutla.

Day 4 - Tosh - Kheerganga ( 14km hike both ways  )
Many people prefer to stay at Kheerganga which is  a 7 km hike from the base and return the next day

Day 5 - Kheerganga - Pulga/ Tulga
Take a day break at these small hamlets and soak into the unparalleled beauty.

Day 6 - Barshini - Jari - Malana
After getting down from Tulga , one can reach Barshini and take a HRTC bus to Jari and then a shared taxi to Malana. There is no other mode of transport to Malana except a taxi or self driven vehicle

Day 7
Malana- Waichin Valley ( easy hike of 6 km both ways )
Hike to Malana and back is around 3 km and then to Waichin valley . Stay overnight at Waichin Valley and enjoy the snow clad peaks turning  into fire during sunset .

Day 8
Malana- Kasol- Delhi
