After being at home for more than 6 months, a break to hills was needed badly and finally I executed this plan recently. So after exploring the properties near Kasauli, for a week, I came across this homestay 'The Ravine' with beautiful valley view from balcony and totally away from the hustle bustle.

Ideal For
We had entire house for ourselves with in premise parking facility also. I would say its ideal for every one, couples, family ,or friends. Any one who is looking to spend some time close to nature, away from crowded areas, this is the perfect place for you.
Why I felt this place was perfect for my visit ,is because, due to global situation, it is anyways not safer to be in crowded areas. And this property is so quiet and secluded that you will only hear birds chirping and breezy sound whole day.
About the property:
The property is located in Mashobra, 2 km before Kasauli. We stayed at the ground floor and had entire floor for ourselves. Entire place is surrounded with Greenry, which will make you feel being in woodland.
It feels refreshed to have a cup of tea with valley view from balcony. It is always windy here due to greenry all around and it is a treat to watch some unique birds, right from your room window.

What to do nearby the property?

You can stroll down the streets for morning and evening walk but don't forget your jacket, its too much windy whole day. One can get an amazing valley view with sunset in the backdrop, making it a picture perfect .
Kasauli
Visit Kasauli, its just 2 kms. Some of the places to visit are Mall road, Heritage Market, Kasauli church(closed now a days), Gilbert Trail(its around 2 to 3 km walk from parking point).
Hiking trail

Starting right from the property, there is a beautiful short hiking trail going down into the woods. We really had a good time hiking there in the morning. During monsoon, lot of waterfalls can be witnessed here(as owner informed us).
Rooms
We had whole house for ourselves. It had 2 rooms , Tv, attached bathroom in both the rooms. Kitchen with all basic utensils, as well as Induction. Backdoor opens up to the balcony, from where you can have a beautiful valley view.
Best time to visit
I visited in the last week of October and weather was pretty cool and soothing. Since entire property is surrounded with greenry, its always chilly here.
During monsoon, valley view will be more breathtaking from balcony. Moreover, few waterfalls can be seen enroute hiking trail(starting right from the property).

Per day cost was around 3500 inclusive of tax. Check website for more information.
Food
As COVID safety, we carried all the food stuff with us. But there are some shops near by, which can deliver food. You can get the contact number from Owner.

Owner shared location on Google maps, so reaching at the property was easier. We followed Old Kasauli road route.
