Solo Trip : Kasol and Chalal ( 3 day weekend trip)

I am very much exited for this trip as always. I haven't slept since last 26 hours and now I am in a train, leaving from Delhi to Chandigarh. From Chandigarh I have a bus to catch, which will drop me till Bhuntar. Right now the train has already left and I feel so lucky that I am sitting next to two beautiful girls. This is like dream come true for me. Haha. Right now it is 05:15 pm and the journey will be for 4 hours. I will reach Chandigarh by 09:30.

Now I took an auto to sec 43 bus station. Had a paratha from a restaurant in the bus station and boarded the night bus.

Cost on travel till now :

Delhi to Chandigarh by train.

Kalka shatabdi : 5:20 : Rs.750.

Bus to Bhuntar from Chandigarh sec 43

Cost : Rs.700

Arrived at Bhuntar bus stop.

Bus to Kasol from Bhuntar : Rs.80

arrived kasol at 9:00 a.m then I trekked to chalal. Bus journey till Bhuntar was fuckin amazing. I made a local Manali friend, who studies in Chandigarh and now I can come to Manali and live at his place in the future and can explore Manali with local's point of view. This is the power of communication. Now I had my little breakfast near Bhuntar bus station and I now am full geared up for the real adventure ???? . It's going to be legendary ????

I am in the bus, this bus will reach kasol by 8.00 a.m.

Trek from kasol to chalal village is always inspiring delight . The bridge between kasol and chalal , the walk near by the river side, the dense forest, the donkeys, the path, everything this is marvelous.

Earlier I was planning to go for Kheerganga trek and to come back by Sunday afternoon, so that I can catch my bus at 7:00 p.m. But I decided to stay at kasol and rest, because after my night shift job, I directly came to this trip. So I needed a power sleep.

Now I am staying at a room in chalal near by river side. This is the best place to relax. So, before sleeping in the morning, I jammed with my guitar at Fusion Cafés guesthouse and slept. Then I got up at around 11:58 p.m. Then I couldn't get proper dinner, because the cafe takes the last order at 11.50 p.m.

So buddy's order before 11:00 p.m

But they made 2 egg Maggi for me as a kind gesture, as I am an old friend to them ????

Now I am again practicing guitar and disturbing the couple staying next to me. But I believe my guitar practice session might have made them enjoy the music.

As I couldn't go to Kheerganga, now I will wake up early to enjoy the sunrise and click some photographs and enjoy my guitar near by the river ????

06:30 a.m

I dropped my plan to sleep, because I woke up after 10 hours of sleep. Now I have enough energy to be active till evening bus time. Now I am going to enjoy the sunrise and also will try to capture some good morning pictures.

After that I'll go to Kasol for breakfast.

I find Himachal the best place in India to enjoy the weather, here the air is very fresh. So fresh that you can make out the difference, if you lives in any polluted city. The morning is so beautiful over here. Best place to have breakfast early morning.

Now I have a plan to enjoy the nature and play my guitar. So just finished my breakfast, will go and enjoy now. After enjoying, I again trekked back from Kasol to chalal, to my room.

I paid the bill at Fusion café, Chalal. The room rent was 650 for the room at 2nd floor. The room was best deal for the amount spent. And the food is also reasonable here. Fusion café, is the best guesthouse in Chalal. Otherwise, you also have rooms available for 300 to 400 hundred rupees.

After leaving from chalal, now I am relaxing and having my brunch at Evergreen café. Evergreen is one of the famous café in Kasol, most foreigners are fond of this place. You'll see many foreigners and good crowd. If you are here, please try lamb pizza, snitzel and cold coffee. I am having brunch now and I have my bus from Kasol to Bhuntar at 4.00 p.m. it's always crowded over here at Evergreen. The best place to sit outside is also full most of the time.

So, I decided to sit near the Riverside peacefully for last the hour, before catching bus till Bhuntar.

From Bhuntar I have bus booked till delhi.

In Kasol, I never saw this many crowd before in my life. This place was so crowded, that it doesn't even get this crowded in the season time. Most of the crowd was teenage, as they never loose the adrenaline rush like me ????. I missed the first bus at 4:00 p.m to Bhuntar, because it was a houseful bus. Then I waited for another half n hour, without sleeping for more than 16 hours. Finally a bus came at 4:30 p.m and we all just pushed ourselves in like we are going to a slaughter house, like chickens. Bus conductor told me that there is traffic in Kasol to Bhuntar road, because of a lot of people reaching out Kasol on Sunday as well. I didn't got any seat. One co - passenger was holding my guitar and another was holding my camera bag. It was a rollercoaster ride. After passing through the traffic in mountains, the driver forgot to lift his leg from the accelerator. And we were flying for about an hour in the bus. It was an amazing adventures ride. For one time my heart was about to come out of my mouth, it was that kinda adventures ride. I was full tired but one person next to me, I could see the pain in his eyes, I could see that pain on his face. That motivated me. After reaching Bhuntar, I found my bus and I also saw my friend Emerald there, with her friends. She didn't knew that I am on a solo trip, now she got to know that. She was also enjoying her travel peaceful holiday in tosh.

It was an amazing journey. This was my first solo trip because I am always surrounded with friends and never got a chance to be alone. So, this trip made me learn a lot of amazing things. I would recommend everyone for a solo trip. Now I have learned, how to respect your guitar and how to give people space. I have also learned that sometimes it is good to spend time with yourself.
