Small hilly Place - Kasauli

And this was winters in November and my birthday month so I made a plan to get surrounded by beautiful serene beauty. It is a small beautiful place in Solan district. Alike me, for a road trip lover, this is the perfect weekend getaway from Delhi. The natural beauty, chilli winds and fragrance of nature makes you high and don't let you to get your eyes off from those hills. In the night, lights on hills seems like twinkling stars and the feeling in cold breeze is beyond belief. This is a perfect place to relax and surround in the natural allure.

How to reach Kasauli from Delhi?

Take a bus to Chandigarh from ISBT Kashmiri gate, from Chandigarh take another local bus to Kasauli. Roads are quite good.

Distance from Delhi- 287 Kms (6 hours approx)

Distance from Chandigarh- 59 Kms (2 hours approx)

Best property to stay?

I stayed in Ramada, Kasauli and found it as the best location to stay. This is situated on a hill and from that height, the hills look mesmerising. It has a terrace garden too and the soothing music keeps you entertain. Food is also good.

If travelling with own car, entrance of the property is quite slanting but there hotel staff can help you to reach the parking area.

Winnies Holiday Resort and Spa is also a nice property with lush green beauty all around.
