Paragliding in Bir-Billing.
Bir is a town in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh and Billing is 28km from Bir.
Bir Billing is best spot for paragliding in India and 2nd best place for paragliding in world. Bir is twin destination which is known as Bir and Billing. Bir and Billing is 16 km away from each other. Billing is Paragliding take off point and Bir is Paragliding landing point.
How to reach Bir:
Roadways: There are overnight Volvo buses from Delhi to Bir or Mcleodganj (approx. 65-70km). You can catch a bus either at Manju ka tila or Delhi ISBT Kashmiri Gate.

Flight: Nearest airport from Bir is Dharamshala
Train: Nearest station is Pathankot which is about 140 kms away. Kangra Valley Railway runs a toy train every morning from Pathankot through Ahju which is 3km from Bir. The train covers the 140 kms in about 7 hours.
You can fly Solo paragliding flight or Tandem paragliding.
Solo paragliding flight - Pilot is specially trained to parasailing and fly alone in paraglider. Many solo paragliders fly at Bir-Billing regularly. To fly solo in paragliding require 12 to 15 days training after all paragliding courses.
Tandem paragliding - Two people can fly in a single Paraglider (which I did). One is trained pilot who know paragliding flying technique and other fly just for joy ride.
