Manali is a high-altitude Himalayan resort town in India’s northern Himachal Pradesh state. It has a reputation as a backpacking center and honeymoon destination. Set on the Beas River, it’s a gateway for skiing in the Solang Valley and trekking in Parvati Valley. It's also a jumping-off point for paragliding, rafting and mountaineering in the Pir Panjal mountains, home to 4,000m-high Rohtang Pass.

1) Solang Valley- Solang is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Himachal Pradesh. It is located on the way to Rohtang from Manali and welcomes tourists in huge numbers every year. During winters, as the valley is covered with snow, skiing becomes a popular sports activity here. Training institutes supervise skiers and train beginners. Solang is one of the most vibrant and enjoyable places in Manali.
2) Rohtang Pass- This pass is located at a distance of just 51 kilometres from the main town and can be reached only by road. The route up the hills is a treat to the eyes and the mesmerizing beauty of nature is absolute bliss. The pass is an experience of nature in its rawest forms amongst mountain peaks covered with snow, breathtaking view with enchanting and sprawling landscapes.
3) Beas Kund- Walking along the banks of River Beas for 8 km on a level ground while passing through the thick covers of oak, fir and walnuts are beautiful. The route ultimately leads to Dhundhi that lets you witness the mighty Hanuman Tibba.
4) Hadimba temple- Hidimbi Devi Temple, locally known as Dhungiri Temple, also known variously as the Hadimba Temple, is located in Manāli, a hill station in the State of Himāchal Pradesh in north India. It is an ancient cave temple dedicated to Hidimbi Devi, wife of Bhima, a figure in the Indian epic Mahābhārata. This is a unique shrine dedicated to goddess Hadimba Devi. It is surrounded by gorgeous cedar forests and is built on a rock which is believed to be the image of the goddess herself. The temple base is made out of whitewashed stonework, the roof of the temple stands tall at the height of 24 meters and has three layers of brass cone at the top.
