The place is ideal for every generation people. One of the most popular tourist places in Northern India is situated in Kullu District, Himachal Pradesh on the banks of Beas River and at an altitude of 1950 Meters or 6500 Feet (approximately) Manali, Valley of Gods.
I visited Manali from Chandigarh which is 9 hrs long journey, you can also visit through flight nearest airport is bhunter which is almost 50 km from Manali. I enjoyed road travel to see the beauty of Himachal and feel fresh air. I booked my hotel on mall road as this is near to market and every tourist place is nearby. I reached there in evening and took a rest in my hotel after resting for 2hrs i explored the local shops and restaurants in mall road.
Next Morning i woke up and the bright sunshine stole my heart. I was looking forward to explore and visit very famous temple Hadimbadevi Temple. Before entering the temple, local ladies persuaded me to hold round and furry rabbits. The idol of Goddess Hadimbadevi is placed in a small cave inside the pagoda shaped temple with intricate woodwork on the door. I went for darshan, took blessing and clicked some pictures. I had yak ride and dressed up to get my pictures clicked in Manali traditional dresses. "Travelling is best way to experience different culture and explore the world".
After that i walked towards old Manali through a pedestal route from Hadimbadevi Temple. In old Manali there are lots of restaurants and traditional shops which sells ethnic handicrafts and dresses. Also there is a Manali club house where u can play as many as sports games and activities. Moving on to through activities, I did rope bounce over the chilly river. Water was so chilled that my feet actually get froze for the first time but then i made my self enjoy the water bounce with a loud woohoo noise. It was actually fun to try this rope activity.
Next day i went to Vashisht Temple and Baths. This temple is built with intricate wood carvings and is about 4000 years old. Hot springs flow around the temple which is believed to have medicinal value and is used in abundance by the localities. After taking bath and blessing i walked towards Jogini water fall through a reeking route from Vashisht temple. After 1 hr of trekking i saw a big waterfall which was awesome, i spent almost 2 hrs and clicked lots of picture. That was my amazing experience.
When people think of Manali, the second place that come in their mind is Rohtang Pass. And Rohtang pass is no doubt must-visit place when you visit Manali. I booked a cab and traveled rohtang from Manali mall road. A place where Mountain covered with snow with many snow sports and activities. I spent lot of time in rohtang pass, enjoyed the panoramic view of mountains and hills and captured all beautiful scenes in my eyes and tes of course in ky camera too.
Ended the day with Him-Valley amusement park which was amazing. I clicked few pictures. It was pretty cold outside and the location of the deserted amusement park was inviting me to pose a little.
The weather in Manali offers a variety throughout the year. If you like the cold weather and snow, then you can enjoy winters from November to February. However, you can experience nice and pleasant Manali weather in summers from March to October.
