Tucked away just beyond Shimla, this village offers an escape from the crowds, allowing you to truly unwind and connect with nature.

How to Reach Kotgarh from Delhi:

Here's a guide on how to reach this quaint village from the bustling capital city:

By Air: The nearest airport to Kotgarh is the Shimla Airport, also known as Jubbarhatti Airport. From Delhi, you can take a direct flight to Shimla, which takes approximately 1 hour. Several airlines operate regular flights on this route. Once you arrive at Shimla Airport, you can hire a taxi or take a pre-booked car to Kotgarh, which is around 80 kilometres away. The drive from the airport to Kotgarh takes approximately 2 to 3 hours, depending on road conditions.

By Train: If you prefer a scenic train journey, you can take a train from Delhi to Kalka, a town near Shimla. Multiple trains connect Delhi and Kalka, including the famous toy train. The journey from Delhi to Kalka takes around 4 to 5 hours. From Kalka, you can continue your journey to Shimla by taking the narrow-gauge toy train, which is a unique experience in itself. The toy train ride from Kalka to Shimla offers breathtaking views of the mountains and valleys and takes approximately 5 to 6 hours. Once you reach Shimla, you can hire a taxi or take a local bus to Kotgarh, which is about 60 kilometres away.
