Delhi - Chail
Tarun, Subodh & Sunny drove from Kota and picked me up from Delhi and we hit the road. 1st pit stop was as usual Amrik Sukhdev for some breakfast. We continued the journey, we planned to reach Kufri on day 1 but instead we took a detour via Chail instead of Shimla (Best Decision). We passed through Chail sanctuary, the drive was beautiful. As it started getting dark, we looked for a place and we found one homestay in a village called Alampur, it was out of our budget but we had no choice and we checked in. The place was facing towards the valley and there were high green mountains in the background. While we were waiting for food to get prepared, we were just staring at the sky full of stars and we couldn't believe what we saw next, the Moon rising behind the mountains, it was magical. We were seeing something like that for the first time. This was Day 1 of the adventure.
