Key Monastery, Spiti Valley

The stunning Key Monastery is over a thousand years old and is also the largest monastery to be found in the entire Spiti Valley.

Located at an altitude of 4,166 metres above the sea level, the monastery is very close to the Spiti River in the Spiti Valley of Himachal Pradesh in India.

This place is gem to the buddhist culture. You can see the old prayer rooms and manuscript which has been preserved very nicely
