Day 1

This was a unplanned trip. I need a break from daily routine. I asked one of my friend to come out with me and have a small trip for 2 days. He agreed. We planned it for Shimla. When we were on the way we agreed to go further and planned it for Chitkul. Chitkul is around 340 KM from Chandigarh and it takes around 13 to 14 hours to reach there by road (depends upon the traffic and road condition).

We started from Chandigarh in Morning at around 6 o'clock and had our breakfast at Solan. After having our breakfast we head toward Shimla. Around 10 o'clock we were at Shimla. We again discuss whether we have to go further or stay here in Shimla. Suddenly my friend said "Yaar hum Shimla kitni baar ate hai or ye achi jagah hai par hum kabhi iske age ni gye. Chal risk lete h or chalte hai". I agreed with his statement and we started after having a quick break there. The weather was pleasant at that time. At around 7 in the evening we reached Chitkul. As it was unplanned trip we started searching for tents, homestay amd Hotel. We finally found a hotel and stay there. After having our dinner we had discussion and decided to go Kalpa after sightseeing.

Day 2

On next day we woke up have our breakfast. Instantly our breakfast we go for sightseeing and clicked pictures. Around 12 o'clock after having our lunch we started toward Kalpa. We don't know about that place and what to do there. We just started. While taking road toward Kalpa i asked one local that what is there is Kalpa for sightseeing and why it is famous for. He genuinely replied me and said " Bhai log ate hain ghumne main yha rehta hu lekin muje to aisa kuch ni lagta. Pata ni log ku ate h. Wese ek mandir h upar or suicide point hai". Then i asked him Kalpa jada acha hai ya Kaza ? He replied i didn't have to that place but i heard from others that its worth to go there. After having conversation with him i decided to go to Kaza. But suddenly my friend said : Do you applied for enough leaves ? I said no but I'll do it right away. I called my Team Lead and tell him that i want to extend my leaves for more 3 days. He agreed. I was very happy at that time. We searched for Gas station and fill our car's tank and started toward KAZA.
The condition of road was felt like we were doing off-roading.
Kaza is around 250 KM from Chitkul. As we started I didn't want to go back after reaching midway. It started getting dark and we were still 70 KM away from our destination. We decided to search for a hotel. We found a hotel and stayed there for a night.
