Traveling... It leaves you speechless at first then it turns you into a storyteller :)
It seems scariest when I first thought of embarking this journey all by my self, that's why it has been truly said that sometimes all you need is that insane courage of the tiniest fraction of seconds which can change your whole life and same happened with me :) and, trust me, it turns out to be my greatest decision ever and my experience was exhilarating.
Nature is the art of god and always wears the colors of the spirit.
Kasol is a small but beautiful town in the district Kullu of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. The most intriguing thing about this place is parvati river, continuously flowing with warm running water which is a fresh water coming from the hills of the Himalayas. The soothing music coming from the river and breathtaking scenic beauty of mountains will make your eyelids stop to blink and fill your heart with positive energy of the nature. I reached kasol from delhi in early morning which takes around 7-8 hours of journey through HSRTC bus.
Kasol is also known as mini Israel. You can find a mouthwatering Israeli cuisines in many small cafes of the town. Moreover, its no surprise if you just bumped into other fellow traveler from any corner of the world such as France, Russia, Israel or even India just like I did. There is a pleasure in the pathless woods, there is a rapture in the lonely forest, there is a society where none intrudes, by the deep valley, and music in the roaring streams. The earth has surely its music for those who will listen...
The best part of the trip is Kheerganga track....
There are many small places along the way from Kasol to Kheerganga track namely Tosh, Barsheni, Pulga and they are equally blessed with scenic serenity. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow its own fresh ness into you and you will feel all the fragrance of the nature.
Kheerganga is a track which is thought to be very dangerous as it is surrounded by wild animals as well as its an adventures uphill of 10km which can be started anywhere from Tosh or Pulga village. It is slippery track and you must stay one night on Kheerganga as this track is difficult to complete in one day, not in my case though :P I had completed it in a one day. I started from Pulga at 8 am in the morning and reached at 1 pm on Kheerganga as I had not taken any breaks in between. Natural hot stream at kheerganga is a real blessings to our body as it heals all our pain and tiredness in no time.
Sometime nature is all you need :)
This is the most amazing place I ever been in my life. It takes 4-5 hours of upwards trekking into hills which is around 10-11 km and it is not just difficult but also come with fear of wild bears. Nevertheless, these all fears are worth once you reach at the top of kheerganga. The natural hot steam bath is most amazing and meditative bath I ever had which comes straight from mountains and the view from top is marvelous. I am grateful to god for the creation of such amazing place and my life.
